We both wanted to improve the quality of our own lives while helping people who are less fortunate than ourselves with their legal issues. We strive to make the legal process affordable and accessible to all, while providing zealous and compassionate legal representation. We believe that through hard work and dedication to our clients, we are doing our part to enhance the quality of life for people in the Imperial Valley.
Describe what your business does.
We represent our clients in all legal matters but we focus our practice on criminal defense and child and family law.
What are memories from your careers that stick out with you the most?
Memories that really come to mind are those where we’ve prevailed at trial when it did not seem possible. It’s great to see people living happier, healthier and more productive lives after their legal crises are over.
What do you most like and least like about your work?
We like helping people in crisis with their legal issues. We do not like some of the laws that treat people harshly and unfairly.
What makes your business unique?
We are both compassionate and zealous in our style of legal representation; this is not a combination that you frequently see.
What advice do you have for someone who wants to open a business?
We would advise someone who wants to open a business to work hard, maintain high ethical standards, care about your clients. You could be in their shoes some day. Show compassion.
How do you give back to the local community?
We are both in Rotary International (Steve is the president of his club). We do pro bono work from time to time. We make private legal representation affordable.
