What do you enjoy most about your sport?

I enjoy the competition, the hard work I have to put in to be a winner. I enjoy having my teammates around because they push me to be the best. I love wrestling.

What is one of your more memorable moments in your sport?

My most memorable moment would be winning the Holtville Rotary Invitational in my weight class. I won in front of my friends, my family and my town. I will always remember that weekend.

Tells us about someone who inspires you and why?

My dad inspires me to become someone better. I see how hard he works and how his mind is, it only pushes me to be a great dad just like him. He always tells me to never be scared of anyone, always be a champ. I love my dad.

What are your expectations for this season?

My expectations would be to train harder, wrestle harder. I never look down on anyone, even if I’m better, but I take each match as if it was my last one. I will never give up on my goal to reach state. I’ll go as far as the good Lord takes me.
