CIF-San Diego Section officials met Saturday morning to determine the first round of playoffs in a number of sports. Several local teams qualified.
BOYS’ BASKETBALL
All games are set for Wednesday, Feb. 20, at 7 p.m., and quarterfinals for Saturday, Feb. 23.
In Division III, 12th-seeded Central Union Spartans (18-7) are scheduled to take on fifth-seed San Dieguito Academy of Encinitas (18-8). The contest will be held in El Centro. Should the Spartans prevail, they will advance to the quarterfinals to play the winner of the Valley Center-Monte Vista game.
In Division IV action, sixth-seeded Imperial High Tigers (19-7) are set to face 11th-seed Guajome Park Academy of Vista (15-6). That game will take place in Imperial. Should the Tigers get past Guajome Park, they will play the winner of the High Tech-Francis Parker game.
In Division V, sixth-seeded Calipatria High (13-10) will host 11th-seed San Diego Jewish Academy (7-12). Eighth-seeded Vincent Memorial Catholic High (16-7), meanwhile, will host ninth-seed Pacific Ridge High of Carlsbad (9-14).
GIRLS’ BASKETBALL
All games are set for Tuesday, Feb. 19, at 7 p.m., and quarterfinals for Friday, Feb. 22.
In Division II, the eighth-seeded Southwest High Eagles (21-6) will host ninth-seed Bonita Vista High of Chula Vista (12-14). If they win, they will advance to play the winner of the Serra-Point Loma game.
In Division III, the tenth-seeded Brawley Union Wildcats (15-13) are scheduled to play seventh-seed Del Norte High (16-11) in San Diego. Should they get past them, they will then play the winner of the Central Union-Our Lady of Peace game. The 15th-seeded Spartans (15-12) will travel to play second-seed Our Lady of Peace (19-8) in San Diego.
In Division IV, the fifth-seeded Imperial High Tigers (18-10) play at 12th-seed Francis Parker High (3-15). The ninth-seeded Holtville Vikings (7-13) will face eighth-seed Madison High (6-14) in San Diego.
In Division V, the fourth-seeded Vincent Memorial Catholic Scots (17-8) are to host 13th-seed Maranatha Christian High of Pasadena (11-13). Should they advance, they will play the winner of the Pacific Ridge-San Diego Academy game.

All games are set for Wednesday, Feb. 20, at 5 p.m., and quarterfinals for Saturday, Feb. 23.
In Division I, the tenth-seeded Calexico High Bulldogs (13-3-7) will travel to take on fifth-seed Poway High (10-4-7). Should they advance, they will play fourth-seed Escondido High (14-4-5), who had a first-round bye, in Escondido.
In Division III, the 11th-seeded Brawley Union Wildcats (12-5-4) are slated to host sixth-seed Olympian High of Chula Vista (13-9-1). The winner of that game will advance to play third-seed Southwest High of San Diego (13-5), who also had a first-round bye.
In Division V, second-seeded Calipatria High (10-3-2) has a first-round bye and will host the winner of the Foothills Christian-Vincent Memorial Catholic game on the 20, which will take place in El Cajon. The Vincent Memorial Scots (7-3) are the 10th seed. Finally, the 11th-seeded Calexico Mission High Roadrunners (3-5) will play Horizon High of San Diego (10-11-1).

All first-round games are set for Tuesday, Feb. 19, and quarterfinals for Friday, Feb. 22.
In Division III, the 11th-seeded Central Union Spartans (15-1-3) are slated to host sixth-seed Academy of Our Lady of Peace of San Diego (8-9-4). The game will take place at 5 p.m. Should they advance, they will travel to play third-seed University City High of San Diego (8-6-5).
In Division IV, the 10th-seeded Imperial High Tigers (9-12-2) play seventh-seed Escondido Charter (13-2-3) in Escondido at 4 p.m. The twelfth-seed Holtville High Vikings (12-10-1) will face fifth-seed La Jolla Country Day (4-12-4) in La Jolla at 5:30 p.m.
In Division V, the 11th-seeded Vincent Memorial Catholic Scots (2-3-4) will take on sixth-seed Rock Academy (7-6-2) at Serra High School in San Diego at 6 p.m. The twelfth-seeded Calexico Mission Roadrunners (2-2-2) play fifth-seed Calvin Christian (14-3-3) in Escondido at 4 p.m.
