Masters competition for all divisions will be held at Eastlake High School in Chula Vista this Friday.

BRAWLEY UNION HIGH

SAN DIEGO — The Brawley Wildcats dominated in CIF-San Diego Section Division III competition on Saturday at Cathedral Catholic High. As a team, they won first place overall.

Vicente Elizalde (108 pounds), Isaac Moreno (115), Alonzo Osuna (134), Chayanne Chan (140), Brian Centeno (162), and Juan Morales (172) all won their weight classes.

Peter Martinez (122), Francisco Garcia (147), and Miguel Moreno (287) placed second.

Joseph Guler (197) and Brian Ortiz (222) each took fifth, while Luis Banda(128) and Richard Ramirez (154) took sixth.



CALEXICO HIGH



CHULA VISTA — The Calexico Bulldogs did decently in CIF Division I competition at Otay Ranch High.

Alvin Wong (147) finished third in his weight class, the highest placing on his team. Bryan Zevada (154) placed fourth, while Kevin Teran (115) and Jonathan Elias (140) took fifth.



CENTRAL UNION HIGH



SAN DIEGO — The Central Spartans had a strong showing in CIF Division III competition at Cathedral Catholic High.

Rafael Perez (122) and Antonio Perez (147) each rose to the top of their weight classes, and Richard Aguilera (108) and Isaiah Castillo (162) each took third.

Henry Beltran(115), Justin Nuñez (154), Giovanni Acevedo (172), Nicholas Alvarez (184), and Calvin Lopez (287) all placed fourth.



IMPERIAL HIGH



SAN DIEGO — The Imperial Tigers had four grapplers place during CIF Division IV competition at Mater Dei Catholic High.

Kenny Caldera (108 pounds) won his weight class, as did Mark Benedict (172). Mark Galbiso (115) placed fourth and Shaun De la Torre (184) took fifth.

Caldera, Benedict and Galbiso will be moving on to Masters.



SOUTHWEST HIGH



SAN DIEGO — Two Southwest Eagles qualified for Masters during CIF Division II competition at Westview High.

Austin Ball (122 pounds) and Drew Garcia (197) both finished seventh in their weight classes.
