SAN DIEGO — The Brawley Union High girls’ basketball team finished third in the Aztec Holiday Tournament here Saturday.
Brawley beat Morse High, 43-35, for third place.
For the Wildcats Meriah Overton had 15 points and was selected to the All-Tournament team.
On Friday, Brawley beat the Preuss School, 59-10.
Spartans get win, loss
SAN DIEGO — The Central Union High recorded a win and a loss in the Monte Vista High tournament here Friday.
Central beat Health and Science High, 83-7, with 21 points from Priscilla Gomez and 16 points from Charlene Charles.
Central then lost to Monte Vista, 52-35. Charles had 10 points and Gomez had 10 points.
