The latest update by the county Registrar of Voters shows little change in county races.

Approximately 500 more ballots were processed today, affecting school board and Imperial Irrigation District races in terms of numbers but not in results.

In the Calexico Unified School District board race Ciro Calderon and Leticia Vizcarra seem to be the likely winners of the two available seats. Calderon has 2,420 votes and Vizcarra follows with 2,344 votes. Vincent Cuevas is third with 2,175 votes.

In the Central Union High School District board the leading candidates for the three available seats are still on top. Ryan Childers has 5,786 votes, followed by Jacinto "Jay" Jiménez with 5,169 votes, while Steve Walker is third with 4,836 votes. Walker is some 800 votes ahead of Peter Rodriguez.

In the Seeley Unified School district board, Patricia Burton gathered one more vote since Tuesday's update and continues in first place with 244 votes. Second place Elisa Carlos still has 237 votes while third place James Garcia got an additional vote since Tuesday and now has 221 votes.

For the Imperial Irrigation District division races. Bruce Kuhn has 18,383 votes and seems well on his way of becoming Division 2 director by beating incumbent John Pierre Menvielle, who has 13,135 votes. In the Division 4 race, Steve Benson has 18,140 votes while incumbent Stella Mendoza has 14,009 votes.

In the Division 5, Norma Sierra Galindo has 7,935 votes while Wally Leimgruber has 7,165 votes.

The ballots processed didn't affect Calexico or Holtville council races, where each has three seats available. In Calexico, John Moreno, Joong Kim and Luis Castro are first, second and third respectively while in Holtiville David Bradshaw, Ginger Ward and James Predmore follow the same trend.
