A residential alarm went off on Treadwell Street some time before noon Sunday, according to Imperial County Sheriff’s Office logs. Responding officers did not see evidence of foot traffic around the property. Doors and windows were shut.

Sexual solicitation

An Imperial County Sheriff’s deputy was flagged down near United Food Center on Highway 111 shortly before 1:30 p.m. Sunday. A man and a woman got into a verbal argument over the man asking the woman to perform a sex act on him for $10. No sex act was committed and the man’s wife was notified by the woman involved in the argument, according to Imperial County Sheriff’s Office logs.

Loud jam

Authorities responded to reports of loud music on Eighth Street around 1 a.m. Sunday, according to Imperial County Sheriff’s Office logs. The homeowner, who identified himself as a law enforcement official, became irate and said he would turn down the music, and told authorities to leave his property. Authorities advised him to stay inside for the night due to his level of intoxication.
