Hundreds of children formed a wide “U” around the field, far enough away for safety, but close enough to see the action.
Some could barely restrain themselves as they pointed at nearly everything in the sky, a bird, a jet, but nothing quite like what they were expecting.
“Who’s ready to see a helicopter?” came the call over a loudspeaker.
