SEELEY — Imperial County firefighters responded to a structure fire at a manufactured home Friday morning in the 1900 block of Evan Hewes Highway.
No one was home when the fire began, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation, Imperial County Assistant Fire Chief Rob Scott said.
Three engines from stations one, three and six responded with 10 firefighters to get the blaze under control.
The fire originated in the back bedroom, and fire was seen coming out of the bedroom window on arrival. Firefighters remain on scene.
