The Brawley Union High School mock trial team represented Imperial County in the state mock trial finals competition, where schools from all over the state participated Friday and Saturday.

Sophomore Brooks Hamby, on his first time competing in the state finals won the J. Skelly Wright Constitutional Advocacy Award Outstanding Pretrial Attorney for prosecution.
