About four years ago the goal of one of the classes at Calipatria High School was to train students for the renewable energy future.
That vision has evolved to introducing students to the technology that makes up the industry the Valley could lead the world in, said Imperial Valley Regional Occupational Program renewable resources class instructor Gabino Mendoza.
