A suspect, identified in the logs as 20-year-old Amber Lomas, was detained early Monday at the Wal-Mart superstore in the 2100 block of North Waterman Avenue.
Lomas was cited and released on an allegation of petty theft during the 3:42 a.m. call, according to the log entry.
Burglary reported
EL CENTRO - Police received a 9:56 p.m. call Sunday about a residential burglary that is believed to have occurred over the weekend in the 800 block of Brighton Avenue.
The victim told officers that the burglary is likely to have occurred Thursday when the occupant was not at home.
The log entry reported that the north bedroom window at the location was broken and among the items taken are a $650 black 36-inch Vizio plasma television and a $800 dark blue 17-inch Gateway laptop computer with the 0 key missing and an HMF sticker on front.
Also taken from the home was a black $400 Playstation, a black Motorola I1 phone worth $300 and a social security card belonging to the victim, the log entry read.
