Michael Vincent Pree, 23, was arrested last week on charges of sexual assault of a minor, according to LAPD.
Police say the crimes happened several times over the course of a week, during which Pree also forced the girl to work as a prostitute.

They did not say how Pree knew the little girl.
Investigators from the Innocence Lost Task Force launched an investigation into Pree's activities after receiving a tip earlier this year. He was arrested last Wednesday after a search of his home turned up further evidence.
He was also charged with aggravated sexual assault of a minor, pimping and multiple counts of lewd acts upon a child.
Pree has been freed on $50,000 bail. He is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 12.
The Innocence Lost task force is a multi-agency operation that includes the LAPD, the FBI, the Los Angeles County District Attorneys Office, the United States Attorney Office, and the Department of Homeland Security.
To date, more than 1,800 children have been rescued from sexual exploitation and over 800 pimps and madams have been convicted.
