SALTON CITY --- Roughly 11 pounds of methamphetamine worth an estimated $366,000 was seized this week during an arrest by U.S. Border Patrol agents at the Highway 111 checkpoint.
A press statement issued today read that an unnamed, 21-year-old U.S. citizen had been arrested Wednesday night after the agents using a trained dog were alerted to a Nissan Sentra. Six packages of the illegal drug was found hidden inside a compartment.
