John Swaim, a former California Highway Patrol lieutenant, was found guilty today for sexually victimizing two girls in the late 1990s.
Swaim, who worked at the Winterhaven Highway Patrol station, was accused of one count of a lewd act upon a child and a count of oral copulation of a person under 14. He also faces two similar counts that involve another minor. He was found guilty on all charges.
Swaim, 46, who is related to both victims, was remanded as he waits for his sentencing set for March 5.
