Two injured in wreck on California Highway 111

 A man helped free a woman trapped under his car after he apparently lost control driving it, the car rolled and she was ejected, according to a California Highway Patrol official.

Oscar Saez Jr., 22, was driving with passenger Alejandra Garcia Limon, 20, both of Heber, south on California Highway 111 south of Aten Road when he went west off the road, CHP Officer DeeAnn Goudie said.

Garcia was flown by REACH from the scene to Desert Regional Medical Center with major head and chest injuries while Saez was transported to El Centro Regional Medical Center with a head injury.
