Around 330 pm I was parked one block south of the city hall last week and could not believe the number of students walking to the border. These kids obviously dont live in Calexico. If the state takes over I wonder if anything will change.
Not only does the State need to take control of this cesspool, but those who are still alive and misspent the public's money should be held accountable with prosecutable laws. If there aren't laws on the books to hold people accountable, there needs to be.
The only way to stop the continuance of corruption is to demand laws be enacted that will hold those guilty accountable. As our system stands now, corruption follows corruption, follows corruption and follows corruption, with the guilty "forgotten" and allowed to sail off into the sunset, making room for the new corruption. Our system needs a complete overhaul.
