I would like to thank everyone involved with our annual Abate Local 38 Los Niños Toy Run on Dec. 15 to benefit the Betty Jo McNeece Receiving Home.
Even with the weather as it was, bikers from all over the Valley and Yuma came to ride and bring a toy to add a little joy to some very deserving kids, without them we couldn’t have accomplished what we did.
Thank you to Jose Munoz of Lucky Supermarket and his generous staff, making us feel welcome with coffee and goodies; Las Chabelas Restaurant (Abraham) for the excellent lunch.
Thank you to Allan Lee for playing Santa and our band of elves: Alicia Brown, Erin Moler, Rose Ann Adame, Monica Perez, Prisma Cebreros and Viana Lander, and our auctioneer, Rev. Fred, who helped us raise more than $1,300 and two truckloads of toys.
Thank you to all of our other sponsors, without you this would not be possible.
“Bikers will not forget kids.”
