The Holtville Department of Recreation will celebrate July 4th from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. today at Gene Layton Memorial Pool, 614 Holt Ave.

The Calipatria Chamber of Commerce will host an old-fashioned small town Independence Day celebration from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Rademacher Park at the corner of Main Street and Park Avenue.

Bombay Beach will celebrate the Fourth of July starting at 10 a.m. with a Mexican brunch at the American Legion Post 801, 2108 First St.

EL CENTRO: CUHS band fundraiser set
Central Union High School band will have a Domino’s Pizza fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and Sunday at El Centro Domino’s, 424 N. Imperial Ave. Tickets are $10 for an extra large pizza and an order of bread sticks.
