IMPERIAL -- No one died or was majorly injured after a Harrier aircraft crashed into a home's front yard on Fonzie Avenue near the intersection with Cabo San Lucas Avenue this afternoon.

A pilot ejected from the aircraft before the crash and is being treated at Pioneers Memorial Hospital.

Flames were pouring out of one home which sustained significant damage from debris of the aircraft, said Imperial Fire Chief Tony Rouhotas. Three homes were damaged in the incident. At least two families have been displaced, and authorities are still working on utilities to determine if the rest of the block will be displaced or not.

As of 7:30 p.m. tonight, the fire is under control.

The crash felt like an earthquake, said many neighbors who were home at the time, and one man, Raul Aveces, said he helped coax three people in shock out of their homes. Some hadn't even realized that their home was on fire.

Debris from the wreckage was seen in a park across from the home, and many described the scene as scary and shocking.

Very interesting last nights Show, Hagmann and Hagmann report . Steve Quayle discussed the Yuma Marine based Harrier Jet crash and very possible causes of that crash. He mentioned Russian ships and other activity going on . Just Throwing this out there. Yeah i do believe in the alternative news networks.

"Majorly"? Since when did slang become acceptable in news articles?
