Central Union High senior track and field jumper Bryce Petter dominated his events at the annual Tiger Relays hosted by Morse High on Saturday in San Diego.

Petter helped his boys’ squad win the team competition. What do you enjoy most about your sport?

I enjoy the whole support vibe of it from your team. Even though it is basically how well you can do against your opponent, you know your team has your back.

What is one of your more memorable moments in your sport?

My most memorable moment was last year when I went to the Mustang Relays. I beat a pretty good triple jumper and took first place.

Tell us about someone who inspires you and why?

My mom inspires me through thick and thin, she’s behind me 100 percent and I know no matter what I do, I’ve got her full support. What is your goal in your sport this season?

My goal is to get as far as I possibly can in terms of jumping distance. I want to push myself as hard as I can so when I’m done I know I gave it my all … no regrets.
