The Imperial Valley College baseball team lost to Barstow College, 5-3, in a game Tuesday at IVC.
For the Arabs, Erick Ochoa went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and Chris Gonzalez went 1-for-3 with a double.
IVC (1-1) will play at Antelope College at 2 p.m. Thursday.

Scots clinch league
PINE VALLEY — The Vincent Memorial High boys’ basketball team clinched its sixth consecutive Citrus East League title after beating Mountain Empire High, 89-48, here Tuesday.
For the Scots, Richie Murillo had 26 points, nine assists and nine rebounds. Nico Soberanes had 20 points and six steals and Kenny Bush had 10 points and seven rebounds.
Vincent Memorial (19-4, 7-0 CEL) will host Warner Springs High at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
Tigers beat
Eagles, 78-50
IMPERIAL — The Imperial High boys’ basketball team beat Southwest High, 78-50, in a nonleague game here Tuesday.
For the Tigers, Royce Freeman had 18 points, five rebounds and three steals, Dajon Staton had 14 points, six assists and two rebounds.
Marcelluz Smith had 13 points, seven assists and four rebounds and Dexter Bell had 12 points and nine rebounds.
Imperial (15-7, 4-0 DL) will host Calipatria at 7 p.m. Friday.
Bulldogs beat Vikings, 48-36
CALEXICO — The Calexico High boys’ basketball team beat Holtville High, 48-36, in a nonleague game here Tuesday.
Calexico (10-13, 1-3 IVL) will host Central at 7 p.m. Friday.
Central beats Palo Verde Valley
BLYTHE — The Central Union High boys’ basketball team beat Palo Verde Valley High, 73-52, in a nonleague game here Tuesday.
