In no more than four sentences, explain what you enjoy most about your sport. I enjoy being able to compete and always being in the action. The feeling of getting the perfect pass by my teammates, then the set following up with a kill in the other team’s faces is awesome. Being able to play with my teammates and going to San Diego to play. When you have the chemistry that our team has it makes you want to go out there every day and play our game.

What is one of your more memorable moments in your sport?
Most memorable moment is going up to San Diego to play in the Granite Hills tournament my junior year and playing powerhouse Sunnyslope High, also known as the Green team, and getting crushed. Our coaches’ faces were awestruck and red from laughing at how we reacted when they would kill the ball.

Tell us about someone who inspires you and why?
My parents inspire me to push myself and always getting on me to do my homework or to practice. But my brother was always getting rewarded for his sports so I wanted to follow along and push myself to be like him.

What is your goal in your sport this season?
My goal this year is to be Imperial Valley League champs and to go on to San Diego Section CIF. I would also like to make first team all-IVL.
