The first half of each show will consist of a career-spanning track selection, then the second half will see the vocalist delivering the iconic 1977 album in its entirety. Meat Loaf says: “When Jim Steinman and I first came together, we couldn’t have dreamt the profound effect Bat Out of Hell would have on our lives, and the lives of our fans around the world. “This show promises to be an exciting event. I know the fans will enjoy the show as much as I enjoyed putting it together.” The vocalist passed out on stage twice during a tour in 2011 and earlier this year underwent knee surgery.
