  1. From the Right: Making the housing market worse

    You can’t make this stuff up. I have written previously about the government’s continuous meddling with the housing market. There is little doubt that the collapse of the housing market helped spiral us down into the oblivion of a six-year recession. No doubt that millions of homeowners have had the hardest time keeping current on their house payments. No doubt that a reasoned and thorough examination of the problem could lead to a real solution to the issue. No doubt either that the government will do everything in its power to make the problem worse.
