Hispanic Women in Business

The business owners featured in this article have something in common — they all feel very strongly about being businesswomen. What becomes clear from reading their stories is that there are many ways that women go into business for themselves. Some have the support of their families. Others take advantage of opportunities that require a leap of faith. One thing is evident, however, it is hard work that leads to success. “Many people view owning your own business as a hard situation,” says Fina Calderon, owner of Discount Stereo, “but I say that the more complicated it is the more reward there is in it.”
