The year 2020 marks the 150th anniversary of the Fifteenth Amendment (1870), giving black men the right to vote. Fifty years later, with the passage of the Nineteenth Amendment (1920), women also won the right to the franchise.

Join Monica Ketchum and Tony Mitchell in commemorating the enfranchisement of African Americans and discuss the ongoing struggle to retain voting rights. This presentation is open to attendees of all ages. There is no charge to attend.
