Arts help round out students

In a world where the United States is ranked 38th out of 71 countries in math, and 24th in science, one might start to wonder why schools keep funding arts programs as opposed to adding more core curricular classes like math, English and science.

The answer has to do with how art not only helps develop young students’ minds but also helps them do better in other classes such as math and English.
