When 2010’s Easter Sunday earthquake hit the Imperial Valley and Mexicali regions, many people were caught off-guard as they were going about their day.

The magnitude-7.2 shaker caused millions of dollars worth of property damage throughout the county, the effects of which are still being felt more than three years later.
