Calexico teachers call district’s latest offer ‘an insult’

CALEXICO — Contract negotiation between the Calexico Unified School District and the Association of Calexico Teachers are getting more contentious.

In the most recent volley, Calexico teachers are saying the district’s latest offer is so unfair that they intend not to do any extracurricular work outside their contracted hours of 8:10 a.m. to 3:10 p.m. when school begins next month.
