Charity receives more than $764K for COVID assistance

BRAWLEY — Spread the Love Charity will receive $764,341.47 to provide assistance to locals who are experiencing hardships due to COVID-19.

The money comes from the Emergency Solutions Grants-Coronavirus (ESG-CV) funds administered by the Imperial Valley Continuum of Care Council. The council’s board approved the funding to Spread the Love on Wednesday.
