El Centro is hoping to reach out to young children across the city in an effort to start teaching a healthy lifestyle early on.

Through city programs like Project CHAMPS, short for Cities Combating Hunger through Afterschool Meals Programs, which aims to combat hunger while promoting a healthy lifestyle, El Centro just might prove to be successful.
