HEBER — The court-appointed receiver in charge of operations at Imperial Center said the property is attracting interest from prospective buyers and that a deal may be reached within the next couple of months.

Kevin Singer, founder and president of Los Angeles-based Receivership Specialties, said such a deal should ultimately allow Imperial County to recoup money owed on a $2 million loan made from Community Benefit Program in April 2017.
