EL CENTRO — Imperial County employees wanting to take part in the Loans at Work Program will now have a choice of three institutions to choose from, including two offering more favorable interest rates.

The Imperial County Board of Supervisors in December questioned whether its Loan at Work Program for county employees was doing more harm than good when the sole option came with a very high interest rate.
