EL CENTRO — Nearly two weeks after the Imperial County Board of Supervisors issued a proclamation to the governor’s office for improvements at the Salton Sea, County Executive Officer Tony Rouhotas Jr. followed it with a letter to Gov. Gavin Newsom.

In the Nov. 4 letter, he requested a specific list of equipment and resources the county is seeking for the Salton Sea.
