Imperial County students continued to progress in standardized test results for the 2018-19 school year.

The California Department of Education on Wednesday released the test results for the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress. The examination measures the proficiency in English language arts and math for third- through eighth-graders, as well as for 11th-graders. Some 19,308 students in Imperial County took the examination last school year.
