EL CENTRO — The percentage of Imperial County’s labor force that was out of work fell from a revised 19.0 percent in October to 18.1 percent in November, the state Employment Development Department announced Friday.

The result is also an improvement on the 18.4 percent unemployment rate reported for the county in November 2017. However, unsurprisingly, county still lagged well behind the state and national averages of 3.9 percent and 3.5 percent, respectively.
