Last week, geothermal developer Controlled Thermal Resources was bestowed with the Project of the Year award for sustainability during the 9th North American Infrastructure Leadership Forum in San Francisco.

The Australian firm is currently in the early stages of developing Hell’s Kitchen, a 280-megawatt geothermal plant in the southeast corner of the Salton Sea.
