EL CENTRO — Luis Padilla became a father at the age of 18. On Monday, at the age of 24, he became a high school graduate.

That’s when Desert Oasis High School held its commencement exercises for 93 students at Southwest High School’s Jimmie Cannon Theater. Both continuation and adult education students celebrated their accomplishments together.
