EL CENTRO — Imperial Irrigation District Board President Norma Sierra Galindo and incoming Director John Brooks typically see water issues in the Imperial Valley from very different points of view, but both say those disagreements and any negative feelings that may have been born from them will not have an impact on how they will vote on district issues for at least the next two years.
Hamby, who easily won his race for the Division 2 seat earlier this month, said it’s essential for the five-member board to not let personal feelings affect how they vote.
