BRAWLEY — Amid the usual household bills, caring for a toddler daughter and other life expenses, a convenience store employee has decided to tighten her belt for the month to show appreciation to local teachers.

Cassandra Espinosa used $150 out of her own pocket to purchase about a month’s worth of supplies for three teachers as a simple gesture of kindness.
