El Centro K-9s, officers shine at competition

Two El Centro Police Department K-9 officers were able to successfully distinguish themselves and earn the judges’ favor during their first-ever K-9 competition last weekend in Oceanside.

The two ECPD K-9 officers’ accomplishments were made all the more notable considering their relatively short tenure as K-9 officers, in comparison to some of their more experienced competitors in the first annual Oceanside Police Department K-9 Trials.
