EL CENTRO — A Los Angeles-based entertainment services company has tapped longtime Valley resident and independent filmmaker Roy Dorantes to act as its representative in the region.

Many local residents are likely familiar with Dorantes as a former television news reporter for KSWT, from where he resigned in September in order to pursue his passion for filmmaking.
