EL CENTRO – Burgers & Beer has entered into a consent decree after reaching a settlement with federal officials in a lawsuit alleging it failed to hire and promote males as servers.

As part of the two-year consent decree, the company “shall endeavor to meet” various hiring and retention rates for men at its eateries in El Centro, Yuma, Rancho Mirage, La Quinta and Temecula.
