Hospital CEOs address state lawmakers

SACRAMENTO — The chief executives from Imperial County’s two hospitals were among multiple speakers Tuesday who shared their perspectives with state lawmakers regarding how COVID-19 has impacted the state’s border region.

Pioneers Memorial Healthcare District’s Larry Lewis and El Centro Regional Medical Center’s Dr. Adolphe Edward made their brief presentations during a joint hearing held in the state Senate chamber.
