Inside the safety plan for leafy greens

While the health concern making the news is the COVID-19 outbreak, the vegetable industry remains concern about the recent foodborne illness outbreaks involving romaine lettuce.

The U. S. Food & Drug Administration issued on March 5, 2020 an action plan to address its concerns about leafy greens. The link to that is https://www.fda.gov/food/foodborne-pathogens/2020-leafy-greens-stec-action-plan.
