IMPERIAL — Imperial Valley Expo officials are advising the community to follow certain practices when visiting the livestock area at the upcoming fair to better prevent the potential spread of E. coli.

The recommended practices are not necessarily new rules, but a return to a stricter enforcement of previously adopted rules, said IV Expo Chief Executive Officer Alan Phillips.
