Boxes. That’s all you see when you’re moving away from home to college. You experience a few tears and many hugs from your loved ones. Motivational speeches from everyone can help later when you’re away at college by yourself.

Calexico High School seniors are already thinking graduating and going off to college. “Working hard is the way to achieve higher education. That means determination and always coming up with new challenges for yourself,” said CHS senior Diana Sanchez. She also said some students are scared to move away for college. “Growing up in a small town and being attached to my family makes it hard for me to just leave, personally I’d rather wait until I fully grow up a little more and then get up and leave,” said Diana.
