Bruce Wilcox, environmental project manager at Imperial Irrigation Dis-trict, talks about a section of Salton Sea near Red Marina Hill (background at right) that will be restored to a habitat environment. Wilcox said the plan will help with dust mitigation, provide a habitat for bird species and to clean drain water before discharging them to Salton Sea.
