Literacy event promotes summer reading

IMPERIAL — Court Appointed Special Advocates of Imperial County continues to help local foster youth and children in underserved communities stay successful in school by promoting academic enrichment.

Hoping to keep those kids on the right track academically during summer break, CASA held its inaugural Jump Into Reading event Saturday at Ricochet Rec Center.
